Great Color and Texture
I love Ecco Bella lipsticks. I have been using for about a year now and have tried two colors (Mauve Rose and Tuscany Rose). The ingredients meet my strict standards for cosmetics with as little "nasty" chemicals as possible. The colors are vibrant and stay on as long or longer than my previous brand (L'Oreal Color Rich), and it is not drying to the lips. I would say that the color of this lipstick on my monitor looks more "orangey" than in real life. Amazon's price for this product is no cheaper than my local health food store, but if I am ordering other items, I save the tax!

The Best Vegan Lipstick (Color-Rosewood)
I bought two vegan lipsticks simultaneously about 7 years ago, when I stopped using animal products in my cosmetics. The first, by 'Beauty without Cruelty' had an odd smell and taste that made it unwearable, and in addition to that was thick and kind of sticky almost.This one on the other hand has a mild but pleasant make-up smell, does not taste strange, goes on very smoothly, like lipstick should and the color I chose - Rosewood - is one of my all-favorite lipstick colors; it's a warm, medium-dark, perfect for all occasions. The color is similar to the tube of lipstick pictured, but less orangey, more sort of deep mauve.As a company, I really appreciate Ecco Bella. they manufacture their cosmetics in the US. Their ingredients are tested for heavy metals like lead, cadmium and mercury, and in this day and age that sort of seems like something everyone should be doing. The best lipstick ever
I've used this brand for several years now and as long as Ecco Bella keeps making it, I will never use anything else. I live in the Northeast where we have long, harsh winters. I just found this product at the drug store. Being a fan of Burt's Bees policy on natural ingredients and NO animal testing, I had to try it out.My lips are always chapped and very hard to quench. This balm is SOOOooOOOoooo soothing! It lasts all day, AND the natural hint of color adds a healthy hue to my face (as I can't stand to wear actual lipstick). It's the best of all worlds:)I love it! FINALLY!!!
I've only been searching for seriously about 4 years for a sheer, moisturizing lip color with no toxins and no strong smell, and FINALLY my dream has come true!I can't stand the super strong peppermint smell and tingle in Burt's Bees lip color, and their Super Shiny lip gloss is 99% clear shine and only 1% color. The 100% Pure brand has some okay stuff, but it was always too sheer or too pinkish in color and WAY too expensive. Then I tried some lip gloss from Alba only to have my husband tell me my lips smelled like a public restroom from the super sweet baby doll vanilla scent they decided to ruin that product with. I had all but given up, but now, now at long last somebody has figured it out!!...A sheer lip color that is just as moisturizing as chapstick (I used to use the 100% natural Chapstick Lip Butter) and with just the right amount of color and NO TOXINS and no strong smell!!!! Good, kinda greasy
I love Burt's Bees. This tinted lip balm is nice since I don't like to wear lipstick on a regular basis but just want to bring out some natural color.The color isn't as flattering on me as I'd like. I wanted it to bring out a more natural rosy tint to what color my lips already are, but it seems more bright red/orange to me. Don't get me wrong, it DOESN'T look orange. It just has a hint since its a little red lighter than what I expected. It has a lot of color, and shows up but it's not a DEEP red.My only other complaint is that it's sort of greasy. I've learned to just put a quick dab of it on and rub my lips together hard. Otherwise it's too much weird color, and oily. Which means it comes off easily, not like my regular Burt's Bees chap stick.It's good, and nice that it came in a pack of 2. I'll keep using it, but they will last me a long time since I have to use so little at once. Wouldn't buy again but not upset with my purchase. Top to learn more

I decided to try this lipstick because it received a "2" (low hazard) on the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep Database.I love it! The colors (I tried Camelot and Desire) are just enough, not too intense, so that I can wear them during the day without feeling overdone. Also, it leaves my lips feeling silky smooth and moisturized.It's not particularly long lasting, but I find that a fair trade for a healthier product. Reviewed by my wife: "this lipstick has a non-offensive taste, creamy texture and lasts a good while. The container it is in is a bit cheap and prone to cracking because it is a light plastic. My lipstick broke at the base already, but it could have been from going through temperature changes in my purse (very cold to room temperature). a gorgeous and what I call one of the most perfect lipstick reds around. The sheerness of it makes it wearable for casual looks and the glossiness makes it great for a modern yet classic look.
