Beautiful neutrals BUT...
I personally love this palette for a bronzed eye look. I love Too Faced makeup in general, the products are quality and no one markets makeup quite like Too-Faced! The packaging of this set is adorable. The colors are beautiful, and I think its great for medium/dark skin tones but this set has a few drawbacks.-If you are very fair I wouldn't recommend this set. I think the colors would be too dark, too bronze, and come off too brassy/gold. The first two lines of colors might be ok, especially the first set. But the last line of colors I doubt you could wear. For those fair, I would instead recommend Too Faced Naked Eye collection, they aren't as brown.-Last line of colors is pretty sparkly. If you are like me and like sparkle you'll like it, but if you want something subtle you might not like it.-The how-to look cards are hard to get out of the box, I leave mine partially out to make it easier.-The makeup brush that comes with the set is... Not perfect, but still great.
I've been using this stuff for years, and I do love it. I have to say, though, it has a hard time with some things, mainly mascara and eyeliner. There's always a little that isn't removed. I wind up having to do "detail" work with a q-tip to try to remove what's left along my lashlines. It never stings, and feels nice and soothing. I'll continue using it, the price is right and it's better than most others.

adequate for waterproof mascara
This eye makeup remover is awesome! It works perfectly for non-waterproof mascara and adequately for waterproof mascara. I usually apply it twice for waterproof mascara - I simply used my fingers cuz don't like to use cotton pad, but I guess cotton pad/towelette would work better. Top to learn more

Careful if you're acne prone!
A few short days after beginning to use this product, I had a major nasty breakout on both sides of my face, around my cheek bones. This is a very unusual place for me to have pimples, so I quickly pinpointed it to this product as the only thing I had recently changed in my routine.In fairness though, I was applying this cream to my eyes, then applying my regular cleanser to the rest of my face and then rinsing it all off at once. I imagine the water was causing it to run down my cheeks and clog my pores. Since then, I have lessened the amount I'm using, and I wipe it off with a kleenex before cleansing the rest of my face, and the breakouts are nearly gone.Not sure I'd buy again though, I'll probably seek out a product that is completely non-comedogenic. Soft, high quality, great for mineral makeup
There are 4 brushes in this set. I love them all. The mineral powder brush and the mini kabuki brush are perfect for flawless application of powdered mineral makeup. I have used both the shadow and concealer brushes to apply eye shadow. They work great too. These brushes are very soft and luxurious feeling. And they are very well constructed. I've experienced no shedding.I own a lot of makeup brushes including some very high end professional quality brushes. These brushes have not disappointed. Too good for the money I spent , certainly recommend!!!
I could have gotten one MAC brushes with this money, but I got the whole collection, brushes are so smooth and hair never fall off, I tried them with my mineral collection, they are the best, I already had a kabuki brush and I honetly will throw that away, the brushes are so great, Im so happy with my purchase, when I bought them I thought I would get a low quality chinese item, but when they arrived, it was amazing, the packaging was beautiful, leather pouch (real leather, you can smell the leather, not a vinyl) when you open it the first brush is the biggest brush which you barely can see it in pictures of the seller, he may want to change the picture because what I got is much more beautiful than what was listed online, light and smooth handle, easy to use grip makes it very comfortable, this is probably the best one so far I have got from makeup shop. would recommend Top to learn more

ORIGINAL REVIEW 11/24/2009I just got this brush set today & they arrived sooner than stated, & I live in Oregon. I am a little more than moderately impressed by the quality. Being a makeup artist for a luxury cosmetic line that does not sell brushes like these or even brush sets, I find them to be adequate and of decent quality. I haven't observed any excessive shedding, & honestly, no more than some of the more expensive brushes that are sold in other lines in my department. These aren't MAC quality brushes, but I love them just as much as my MAC brushes.UPDATE 11/26/2009:Okay, I still "heart" these brushes. I reviewed these brushes the very first day I got them (11/24/2009) before using them & I just want to mention that these are STILL awesome brushes. As with any new brush, I deodorized them & then thouroughly washed them. I can see why someone would think that they had been used because of the excess dye in the natural hairs, that person... No theyre NOT terrible at all
I cant stand when people give false eyelashes bad reviews because they "look fake" well yea.. they ARE fake. Do not say "these are awful cuz theyre too thick," say "these dont compliment my eyes but they might work for other people." Im a makeup artist in training and some people (like myself) NEED obnoxious eyelashes to even tell we're wearing any. No these lashes dont look right on everyone but that doesnt make them halloween lashes, i happen to look amazing with them. And for the price, oh yea i will definitely order again. You have to cut them a little but thats no big deal at all.
